The digital Halloween Kit is coming along! This digital spider stamp and the digital sentiment stamp will be included in the kit. Our goal with our kits is to provide papers, stamps and sentiments that will allow you to quickly create a card and add your own embellishments. Card samples will be provided on the blog. Images and sentiments will be in transparent PNG format, to allow for layering.

This gift card is accompanying an embroidered pumpkin dishtowel. The embroidery design is by Sonia Showalter, whose great embroidery designs are available here

Good afternoon and happy Labor Day Weekend. I have a couple more examples using the "Relax" digital stamp kit.

The first one is a card that my sister made for her father-in-law's birthday. She used the chair stamp, printed onto red gingham and then flipped for the second chair. The card has a nice homey feel to it. I love gingham.

The second card is one done by Alma. You can visit her blog here and get all the details on how she made this lovely card. She removed the flowers from the teacup since this card was being made for a guy. I love the text-print background.

Our next digital kit will include stamps, sentiments and images...almost everything you need to make a card. Just add ribbons & buttons or your favorite embellies. I am envisioning a kit that will include two ways for you to make your cards.

1) The kit would include transparent png files which gives you the option to arrange your card elements inside of Photoshop Elements, and then print to cardstock. Your card is then just about complete!

2) The second way would be to print out the "paper" swatches, print out the sentiments and stamps, cut the elements out and assemble the card the same as you would a non-digital card. Our hope is that this dual-option kit will make it easy and quick for you to make cards, and at the same time result in a professional finished product!

This card was created for a challenge over at the Moxie Fab World. It wasn't a winner, but the challenge was fun. The background was created with embroidered satin stitch in orange and blues. The chair is an image from the Relax Set available for purchase at my Etsy store. The image was flipped to create a second chair facing the opposite way. This little chair lends itself to many different types of cards. Scroll down for other ideas. An Anniversary Card

Here is another example using the chair image. (available at my Etsy store)The image was printed on designer paper (flipped for the blue chair printout). I then stamped the chairs using a screen stamp, to give a little texture, before cutting them out. This was a fun and easy card to make. The strips of designer paper give the illusion of lots of layers, without the expense. (Bonnie...I CASE'd the card you gave me! thanks!)

Card Base...kraft paper cut 11 1/2 x 4 1/4, scored and then the top layer trimmed off about 3/4".

Artist Lisa Merry has designed a cute set of digital stamps that can be purchased in our Etsy store....Bean Pod Frog Shop. The set consists of three images, created at 1000 ppi which allows for quality printing at larger sizes.

The card samples on this blog will feature cards that are simple to make, using elements that are easily replaced with items you might have on hand. I find that cardmaking is more fun when it is easy to see how the card is made, and doesn't require a lot of tools and product to replicate the look. I think you will find that these digital stamps lend themselves to many "looks", and that your cards will come together easily!

This first set titled "Relax" features a comfy overstuffed chair, a hot cup of tea or coffee and a bouquet of tulips. Here are a few cards for inspiration. All of these cards are a finished size of 3" x 4 1/4", which allows you to get 3 cards from one sheet of cardstock. You could even make them a bit wider than 3" if you wanted to use the entire sheet of cardstock.
